The boost mode feature provides enhanced sensitivity when searching for deep targets in a non-trashy area in conditions that make it necessary to raise the search coil several inches above the surface of the ground. The special cache process mis an enhanced sensitivity, slow-speed, mode which is ideal when hunting for deep treasures or in mineralized soil. Its purpose is to locate large deep objects while sweeping the search coil several inches above the surface of the ground. Like all Fisher Detectors, this model includes a detailed operating manual.

When you are hunting in trashy sites with many targets close together, this is helpful. You can choose between three levels of FeTone audio for the best target id. These are Iron Audio Off, Low and Medium audio responses. Variable audio pitch is now available in the discrimination mode. The embedded serial number is displayed on startup.
