As a piece of land surveying equipment, Schonstedt Instrument Company has designed the device for easy location of a wide variety of ferromagnetic objects including survey pins. This model is also used by professional in the following industries: Surveying and Mapping, Construction and Excavation, Contract Locating, Gas and Oil Pipelines, Roads and Transportation, Facilities Management and Power and Electric.This Schonstedt locator provides no response to aluminum, brass, or copper since it is a magnetic locator. This locator is made of high performance components and comprises incredibly tough production techniques which enable it to hold up to a lot of wear and tear. There is also an IP54 rating on this device which offers dust resistance and water resistance. The device will locate buried ferrous objects and was designed for use in challenging field conditions. If you would like to select a volume level, you can choose between the following three options: muted, medium and high volume.

The Maggie is a Schonstedt magnetic locator. With the Schonstedt Maggie, you get the advantages of both the flagship GA-52Cx and the ultra-portable GA-92XTd. With this, you will enjoy both sensitivity and precision, as well as effortless single-handed operation. This model contains HeliFlux® sensors for optimal performance. It responds only to iron and steel objects as it is a magnetic locator. You can easily locate pipe joints, iron pipes, manhole covers, and other ferrous metal objects with pinpoint accuracy. The device is powered by a 9v alkaline battery. The design allows for easy battery removal and replacement.
