Locate and pinpoint buried valve lids, water meters, curb boxes, manhole covers, and other metallic masses.

The Model 7200 uses computer-generated signals with the ability to identify and distinguish iron objects, such as valve caps and sewer lids, from other metallic masses, such as aluminum cans, to ensure accuracy with every locate. This locator incorporates two different automatic modes for detecting ferrous and non-ferrous metals. The first, a motion mode, eliminates ground effects and false signals; a clear, crisp audio signal with a red bar graph indicates a metallic object. The second mode pinpoints the metallic object and determines if the metal composition is ferrous or nonferrous. Ergonomic design and fully automatic operation make this instrument extremely comfortable and easy to use.
